Often sequels start to get old. They have managed to make this final Shrek film as interesting and fresh as the original.
The introduction of a new evil character and his exploitation of Shrek makes for an adventure that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
What a fitting way to end a series of films that was both creative and fresh.

Shrek the Third was awesome. The baby donkeys are very cute, as well as the baby ogres. When I saw trailers for the 4th one, my family was very excited to see more of the babies. But, we were very disappointed when we watched it. The story was bad, and rather stupid. I do not recommend this!First and Last are the better two of the four - easyHwolf
The first was the best, this one places second. Shrek 2 and Shrek 3 just sucked.
This one felt much more meaningful and suspenseful. It's not as funny as the first one but if you've got a wife and kids, then you can really relate.
I wasn't hoping for much as Shrek 2 and 3 didn't rank high in my opinion, but I was pleasantly surprised!
