Killers
He's tall, dark and handsome with a hint of mystery. What more does Jen (Katherine Heigl) need to know about Spencer (Ashton Kutcher), the man who's just swept her off her feet down in the French Riviera? Well, maybe that he's a professional spy whose special talent is assassination. But no matter, neither bullets nor bombs nor bad guys with big guns can keep these two from living happily ever after - if they can get through the day alive - in the outrageous romantic hit comedy that will slay you.

Kutcher and Heigl star in this comedy about a hitman, Spencer, who doesn’t exactly tell his new love and eventual bride, Jen, about his mysterious and dangerous past. I enjoyed the segments of the movie where the couple met and fell love and how Spencer was acclimating to his suburban everyman's life. However, midway through, reasonable content ceased to exist and a cute romantic comedy was transformed into an excessive, gratuitous and hammed-up action flick. The climactic battle of the agency versus its hired gun reminded me of zombie films in which any character previously introduced serves an exaggerated dual-purpose as a bloodthirsty assassin. Not as good as I thought - maebers
Neither action nor romance, Killers will please all those who see it for Kutcher, disappoint those in search of a story. I laughed a few times and was fairly entertained. I just wish it had a better structure and not such a flat ending...an acceptable time-waster that just barely gets the job done.Funny, but lacks chemistry - thenewguy
Killers follows Spencer, a top-secret government assassin, and Jen, a sweet, careful woman trying to get over a broken heart. Upon meeting Jen, Spencer decides to leave his double-oh seven life and settle down with a normal job and live a typical suburban life with Jen.
Fast forward three years and Spencer's boss wants him back and there are hitmen (and hitwomen) after Spencer. This sends he and Jen into a whirlwind, suburban-themed run for their lives.
The film is essentially a spin-off from Mr & Mrs Smith, but with younger actors and, I felt, less chemistry. We see a lot of the same scenes and the same arguments between the married couple.
The film is entertaining and these are good actors, but I found the script a bit too over-the-top and not engaging. It's a fun way to spend 100 minutes, not much more.
On a slightly different note, it is nice to see Ashton Kutcher in a more serious, physical role and I was pleasantly surprised to see him carry it well.
