Toy Story 3
The creative minds behind Disney-Pixar's groundbreaking animated blockbusters invite you back inside the toy box for a heartwarming and hilarious movie experience you'll never forget. In Toy Story 3, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) and the rest of the Toy Story gang return for an all-new adventure, along with a few new faces - some plastic, some plush - including Barbie's counterpart Ken (voiced by Michael Keaton), a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants (voiced by Timothy Dalton) and a strawberry-scented bear named Lots-O-Huggin' Bear (voiced by Ned Beatty). It's the "biggest, best, most exciting Toy Story of them all," raves Access Hollywood's Scott Mantz. As Andy prepares to depart for college, Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of Andy's faithful toys wonder what will become of them. But, when a mix-up lands them at Sunnyside Daycare, they meet a host of new toys and soon discover a wild new adventure is just beginning!

Toy Story 2 worked so well because the new toys and their relationship to the main character(s) were compelling (Woody's Roundup). They made you cry and laugh all at the same time while having a sense of belonging and purpose. The main cast of toys also had to deal with complex issues which brought a more relate-able feel to their plight and subsequent resolve. This movie lacks all that. The new characters are not likable (pink bear + big baby) and serve little purpose other than the movie needs a villain. The main group of toys are back of course, but this time are just put through cliche Hollywood action/escape sequences for the majority of the movie with no relationship issues. So what we are essentially left with is Toy Story 2 (with Woody's role switched with the rest of the toys), but with a dose of "why should we care we've seen this exact same thing already only better executed." Don't get me wrong this is not a bad movie (there are gags to pass the time), but for the first time Toy Story felt stale (same plot disguised as a new movie with nothing new to offer). The last 5-10 minutes of the film, however, I thought were great and recaptured the essence of the first two films. Too bad there wasn't more of that. Definitely go watch it, but just realize you're witnessing the end of the Toy Story franchise. The writers had and have nothing left to offer.Toy Story Magic - BrAmber
I was scared to watch this movie as I loved the first two and was worried this one wouldn't measure up. I am glad I was wrong. I found this one a little bit more grown up than the last, which is great because the kids that were the main audience for the first movie have now grown up. I laughed. I cried, and I am recommend this movie to all Disney/Pixar fans. <3Pixar wins again! - screengem
As a kid, I grew up watching the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday, and as an adult I had the chance to attend an animation festival where Pixar introduced the first wholly computer generated animation short. The hopping nightlamp that starts off all Pixar movies is a recreation of this short but prescient flic.
I can't help but think in watching this latest Pixar production that Disney is alive and well in the production of wonderful animation - animation that tells stories with love and laughs and learning for all of us who still care to retain our child-like sense of wonder.
Pixar must be a wonderful place to work for this much heart to be incorporated into its projects. I hope you'll enjoy Toy Story 3 as much as I did. It is true to form with the series, with Tom and the whole gang shining brightly!
