This is a good solid three start movie. The acting is very good and it is a very dramatic story. Colin Farrell as the central character is excellent as are the supporting characters. There are a lot of horrific scenes at the beginning of this movie and it is not for the weak hearted. However it is well worth going past this, because the plot is quite qripping and very interesting. Not only soldiers get P.T.S.D.!! - HotTubber
Photojournalist Colin Farrell, comes home after a dangerous assignment in Iraq after getting injured. No longer his out-going carefree self he seems a changed man. Now dark and brooding with something on his mind that he is keeping a secret. His friend David (Jamie Sives,is missing. Supposedly having left before Mark and with a wife about to give birth, David is nowhere to be found. Mark is supposed to be on his way to recovery when it is found that he is a victim of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).I admit to being a bit of a Colin Farrell fan. I loved The Recruit, even liked Daredevil, but this is the type of movie that if it wasn‘t good, I’d tell you with no shame. I’m not that big of a fan of anyone that I wouldn’t be honest. That being said, Triage is a brilliant film. It brings home the realities of war that films like Brothers and Saving Private Ryan does, yet in it’s own unique way. Colin Farrell turns in a remarkable performance as a war photojournalist suffering from PTSD. I wouldn’t have given it a chance if I had to buy it, but I would regret that because this is an amazing film. It does have it’s moments especially in the beginning parts where it drags on a bit, but with patience you should really like this film. Not bad - mxg123
Colin Farrel is a good actor, and in this movie he does shine through. I just found this movie about war photographers in war torn Kurdistan an average movie. I did appreciate the story it was trying to bring to the big screen, but I just thought it concentrated too much on the petit life of the main characters life. Mind you that might of been the main idea of the director, and if that is true then it was not a bad movie. Some poignant point about what war photographers/journalists may face on an ongoing basis, not an easy job at times.
