predictable - valdezzz
This movie does have an irksome predictability about it, leading to a disappointing finale of pursuit similar to a thousand other movies. This film hasn’t developed the desired ability to massage the ideal amount of complication out of the screenplay, and while passably engaging and even semi-poignant, it just doesn’t contain the urgency to sufficiently rouse the senses. You Get What You Expect. - grantalias
While it's not one of Adam Sandlers off the wall crazy comedies (that can be a good thing sometimes)it is pretty average.
While there are some funny scenes, running gags and jokes, it's really about a bunch of middle aged high school friends trying to reconnect after years apart.I was hoping for so much more - Poet
Considering the cast involved, I was expecting so much more out of this movie. It wasn't really bad, it just was not as good as it could have been.
The chemistry among the group of males in the cast is evident. They are friends in real life and it shows. There is a lot of funny stuff going on, but some of the jokes fall kind of flat.
If the script had been done a little better, this could have been a killer comedy.
