I like the fact that this movie was filmed from the angle of the political leaders, but I just wish that maybe we could of had a better view of the actual people in each country presented. Its one thing to interview a country's rulling President, but its another to interview the people being ruled by such people. So although I did enjoy this movie, a lot of doubting questions remain in my mind, which only the South American people could answer.South of the Border - Eklektik67
Interesting documentary but wished he had had more in depth analysis of the other leaders that he visited and commented on some of the other countries in south America like Chile and Peru which I think have much to say about what is happening - esp. Chile where the U.S. has a long history of interference and the horror of Pinochet who was their dictator, and the CIA coup that put him into power after getting rid of Allende because he was also a threat much as Chavez and some of the others. One can only hope this is a long term change and not a blip where the mighty take power again. Worth seeing despite the shortness of the analysis.Left a lot out it seems - Mano

We do get a better picture of Hugo Chavez and others who are fed up with US Latin American policy. Clearly US plitics kept these poor guys oppressed.
I understood the theme of of South American politics better by watching this movie.
Could have been more balanced I feel. Wiki leaks is badly needed about US involvement in Venezuela.
I wont call this as an excellent documentary. But informative. That's all. A well written article would have done the job.
Loads of extras. But they are not well edited.
Nice short clip on neo liberalisn though by the co-writer. That was good,.
