The Switch
From the people who brought you Juno and Little Miss Sunshine, comes The Switch, the offbeat and heartwarming comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. Despite her best friend Wally's (Bateman) objections, smart, fun-loving single Kassie (Aniston) decides it's time to have a baby - even if it means taking it into her own hands. But accidents happen and a rip-roaring drunk Wally has to switch her preferred donor's sperm with his own. Quirky and endearing, and complete with unexpected bonus features, The Switch is quite possibly the funniest comedy ever conceived.

This film brings an original story to screen, but doesn't deliver with the whole package. Aniston and Bateman star as best friends, Kassie and Wally - Kassie's looking for a sperm donor to be artificially inseminated and Wally doesn't agree with her plan. Aniston and Bateman never have the chemistry to pull off a friendship worth fighting for, or pursuing something further, no less. Goldblum’s supporting performance is the best part of the movie as they were the only times I really laughed in what was supposed to be a romantic comedy. Wally's relationship with Kassie’s son is touching, but I found all the subplots involving her son to be quite unrealistic.Decent - movie_goer
"The switch is best described as unusual, corky, and oddly entertaining."
The Switch is niether a comedy or a romance story- instead it takes a unique storyline of its own. Modern and yet endearing once you warm up to the idea that a man would go as far as sabotaging a artifical incemination for his own gain. And live to see the day he takes responsiblity for his own cowardly and shady actions. The switch is more about second chances, finding unconditional love in people you'd least expect.Good Movie - sampid
I LOVED Jason Bateman's character. He is negative, neurotic, funny and cute all at the same time. Aniston played her role very classy, and did not try to be cutesy or overly dramatic.
I rarely believe cute little kids in movies, yet the show stealer for me was Sebastian, the son. This kid is going to be a super star one day if he keeps it up! He is just the right amount of adorable/quirky while never overdoing it. His big brown eyes well up with tears in just the right way (choked me up a couple of times), and yet could deliver 'quirk' with complete deadpan expression. Brilliant! All in all, I laughed, teared up, and managed to enjoy every minute of the experience. Is it Citizen Kane? No. But it's darn good entertainment.
