Decent, with really sub-par performances. - JayA
Takers is a pretty standard heist flick, with a couple of musicians thinking they can act. The plot was average but not bad, with good action and a good pace, but the acting was really bad. Even Matt Dillon is phoning it in. I wondered why a movie with such big names got little or no attention in the theatres, but once I saw it I got it... No one was living up to their potential here. Swing and a miss. Not a bad film, but certainly nothing special. Not terrible, not great. - KeithTalent
I actually liked this quite a bit more than I expected. The acting was pretty rough in spots, particularly the guy that played Ghost, he drove me nuts, but I'm a sucker for heist flick and I thought the action/heist parts worked pretty well. So much of the emotional crap they tried to shoehorn in was bad and really detracted from the overall film and it felt too long. So I had fun with a good chunk of this, but it could have used a bit less crappiness.A Time Taker - Avinash
Takers gathers a lot of high profiled actors but fails to deliver as an ensemble. The story plot is too familiar and been done over and over. It becomes pretty predictable at some point as the story exploits familiar territory. The actors do not stand out and the performace seems enough for a pay check. The script is loopy and there are a lot of question within the inconsistencies of the storyline. Is it worth your time ? If you have nothing else to watch, then do the honors but i can find no merrit for this flick
