Long Live Dickens! - movie_goer
With all the twisted hype surrounding this animation version of A Christmas Carol, the movies rather Obsolete.
The first scene begins with Ebanezer Scrooge, retreiving coins off his Business Partners corpse. It instantly sets the dark, ominious mood for the entire movie. Jim Carrey adds his lack-luster flavourful humor, and yet it seems inapproperiate for Disney and Charles Dickens. I give Disney an A for effot with staying accurate to the book, and for it's lively animation. However the Movies will never possess the spirt and it's Springhtliness.Boring - 3dfan
