We watched this at the school movie night and it was very enjoyable!! I loved how they merged real actors with the animated characters. Very funny and Yogi Bear is up to trouble as usual. There's a good plot behind this movie as well. Good family movie night choice!Great Family Movie, Funny and cute!! - KWNightwalker

Well I must say I was surprised. Unfortunately a lot of Cartoon made Real movies have failed by trying to either change the characters too much or to make the stories so different that you feel you are watching the characters in “an alternate universe”. That could work but the thing is that we want to see these characters because we like them in their cartoon versions not because we now was to see them with different personalities that we won’t recognize. Having said that, I started watching Yogi Bear with that mind set since I had no idea what to expect. Well, as I said earlier, I was pleasantly surprised. Yogi and Booboo are pretty much like they should be and the environment in which they live in is also as how it should be and in CGI they looked quite good. On the voices, both actors did a great job by becoming the characters and same goes for most of the cast except maybe Tom Cavanagh. Don’t get me wrong, I like him, but I thought he was too soft … so subdued. Don’t know if that’s how he was directed to do it or if Tom is too low key, but there lacked some Pow factor here. On one hand, the villains do a great job and looks like they are having fun here. Easy to follow and fun little movie to watch at home … just make sure you safe keep that picnic basket !
