Being such a history buff, I was surprised to find myself unable to fully focus on this movie. Right from the beginning I found myself drifting and losing a bit of interest - and with movies like this, when you lose interest for a minute you get completely lost in the long run.
My husband seemed to find the movie a bit more engaging than I did. Overall, it seemed like an interesting movie with some well-versed characters. Just make sure you aren't tempted to multi-task while watching and that you have the time to really just sit and enjoy it.
