A temptingly tasetful comedy for adults who can count.
On a laughter scale, Blake Edwards' "10", a spicy comedy of manners, morals, and midlife crises, hits the top. It's a film of many moods, sometimes sexy, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes slapstick - but always on target. That target is forty two year old composer, George Webber (Dudley Moore), a man who has everything - and who may just chuck it all in an obsessive quest for a beautiful woman (Bo Derek) he glimpses en route to her wedding.

Dudley Moore was truly a gifted comedian and his performance still holds up after many years. The movie, although from the 80's. is still very 70's in script with some very risqué scenes containing nudity and sexual content. I'm not a prude, but the script would have been just as interesting without the nudity & sex. Julie Andrews, another fine actress, does not excel in this movie. Fine work, but she was type cast for life after the Sound of Music. Watch this flick not for the story, of which there is not much to it, but for Dudley Moore. A great talent. The odd premise that Julie Andrews character would fall for the elfish Dudley Moore is even more absurd than having the pot smoking, liberal minded Bo Derek do it! No chemistry at all between Moore and Andrews. You get the feeling of, "so what?! She doesn't seem to like you anyways!" Why are we to believe that all of a sudden, she's so important to him or even more curiously, why does she want him back? This was an overrated movie, even back in the 70's.Une beauté, oui... mais un film peu excitant - R_A-
Un film qui répond bien au bas instinct de certains hommes.... mais coté histoire.... c'est plutòt pauvre.
Elle est bien belle ....bonne actrice... cela dépend du point de vue de chacun. IL FAUT BIEN CROIRE que le personnage principal a eu un coup de foudre en rencontrant cette beauté... et le film se résume à la poursuite de ce pétard... qui malheureusement vient de se marier à un autre homme.
