Butch & Sundance: The Early Days / Death Hunt (Double Feature)
Butch & Sundance: The Early Years (1979, 115 mins)
Saddle up and ride with charming mastermind Butch Cassidy (Tom Berenger, Platoon) and his crack-shot cohort The Sundance Kid (William Katt, The Greatest American Hero) in the days before fame, when fun was the name of the game!
This is the "prequel" of how they met: their first clumsy robberies, the showdowns and shootouts that bound them together, the secret that nearly tore them apart and the impossible train heist that made them notorious.
Brian Dennehy, Jill Eikenberry, Peter Weller and Christopher Lloyd costar in this action-comedy directed by Richard Lester (A Hard Day's Night, Superman II) that received an Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
Death Hunt (1981, 97 mins)
Fifteen years after starring together in The Dirty Dozen, Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin team up again in Death Hunt for an exciting action film that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Lone trapper Albert Johnson (Bronson) shoots and kills a man in self-defense at his remote Yukon cabin. A few days later, lawman Sgt. Edgar Millen reluctantly puts together a posse of heavily armed men to arrest Johnson for the murder - but bringing Albert Johnson in ends up being more than anyone bargained for.

What a great surprise. While the main story is everything you'd expect: two opposites hating each other but becoming partners, the sub plots are quite fun. Even whimsical, in a 'western' way. It is kinda neat to see so many familiar actors, ranging from Christopher Lloyd to William Katt, taking on such different roles during less familiar times in their careers.Death Hunt - Philip75
Death Hunt is not a picture of historical accuracy, despite its portrayal of a true story from the 1930s. As a complete film, its greatest success rests in the relationship that grows between the two main characters, forcing justice to do battle with raw survival instincts. Lee Marvin and Charles Bronson play these characters convincingly, each showing sympathy for the plight of the other. At times, the personal intent mingles the desire to save the other with the will for self preservation. Through imperfections, Death Hunt prevails as a compelling showcase of action and adventure.
