Another fun Christmas special - Lark
We always look forward to the Dr Who Xmas specials and they rarely disappoint - this is fast paced, clever and fun, the Dickensian twist adding a nice Christmas-ey feel. One of my favorite specials so far - Smith is firmly cemented as my favorite Doctor by now, and Gambon is as always brilliant.Excellent - Karl
What can I say? It's Dr Who at his finest and a story worthy of the Dr. Who name. All of the Christmas specials have been great, but this is one of my favourites. Very moving ending; you will not be able to stop watching. Watch out for flying sharks!!!!!!Whew! Tis good stuff! - Gaucho
I'm not sure where the writers get all of their ideas from or how they come up with ideas for every episode, but here's another one that will not disappoint.
It's the Who Team's take on Dickens, adding in singing, flying sharks, and time travel. It is worth the check-out, as a stand-alone adventure (if you're new to Who and don't want to be bogged down by all of the show's mythology).
Bonus: one of the best special features EVER: Dr. Who at the Proms 2! They perform Who music at the R. Albert Hall, complete with special guests.
