Everyone should see this if only for Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki. He steals this movie away from the stars. I also agree that the relationship between Thor and Jane moves a little quickly. Chris Hemsworth is well cast as Thor, but again I must state that Hiddleston is a force.Loads of action - TheGame
This film has an interesting cast and the acting is actually good. Sure, it may not be the best portrayal of the Marvel comic, but it does its best for the time it has available. Usually comics are more detailed because they can span out so long. I am not a big comic reader, but I have read comics before. I found the movie to be best if you're looking for humor and a lot of action.Pretty Good - borco
Thor was a pretty good stand alone movie, you don't really need to see the other Marvel movies to make sense of it. Although there are a couple references to the other characters sprinkled in there which was nice. The visual effects were really nice and the story had a pretty nice balance between the serious action parts and lighter more comedic parts.
Although I really felt the relationship between Thor and Jane (Natalie Portman) was underdeveloped, but a good action movie for the family regardless.
