I put this movie on simply to pass some time and have to say that I was extremely surprised. The photography is amazing, the narration will captivate you and I was very impressed. It is a great way to introduce nature to children in a true and honest way. Compared to some of the movies that have some out lately, if you have children or simply an appreciation for nature, you will appreciate this film.African Cats - papabendi
My young 'un and I have gone to see each of the DisneyNature features theatrically and have enjoyed each. They're not exactly cutting edge in their assembly - mostly due to not wanting to alienate the family audience with the grimmer realities of animal life - but the crews manage to capture so much incredible footage you often have to remind yourself that they weren't carefully choreographed and performed on cue.
Overall I think African Cats is the best of the three features to date. Only the narration by Samuel L. Jackson - who seems to have become a caricature of himself - is disappointing as he sleepwalks through it.
