I really liked this movie. It was obviously not as good as the first two, however the action scenes were awesome and the plot was decent as well, which is really all you can ask for in a movie like this one. I will say though that I did not like Rosie Huntington-Whitely at all in the movie. She is not a very good actress at all but I guess she got the role more for her looks. Definately worth a watch!Transformers: Dark of the Moon - djfunkybob
The third installment in the Transformers franchise offers spectacular special effects and abundant action sequences, but not surprisingly lacks an intriguing human story. LaBeouf reprises his role as Sam with another failed attempt to be taken seriously amongst such sheer fantasy. Fox, on the other hand, did not reprise her role as Mikaela and was “replaced” with Sam’s new love interest, Carly (played by Huntington-Whitely). Fox never demonstrated any Oscar credentials in the first two films, but was far better than Huntington-Whitely who Bay attempted in vain to portray with a head on her shoulders only to zoom on anything but her brain. In fact, Sam and Carly’s relationship bothered me because they didn't seem to have made it to the “I'll jump in front of an alien” phase yet. I remained astounded at Bay’s budgetless ability to roll the chaos into downtown Chicago and capture the destruction in such detail. I enjoyed how the lunar landing conspiracy and NASA's Apollo program were woven into the story. However, the story itself had little substance because the film was about machines and their ageless battles.3rd times a charm? - CalgaryFlorida
By no means was this a great movie, but looking at this and then the previous two, I have too admit this would be my favourite. It had a Battlefield L.A. feel to it (Did not like that movie) and the animation done by Lucas Arts is just beyond anything I can fathom, I still don't know why this movie has not won for best visual effects, it has the most they are so realistic looking, usually you can see little mistakes or cut corners on movies with a lot of green screen but I still cannot find anything wrong with them in this movie.
That being said, its way to long, I hate Shai Labeouf he's really not that good and he plays the same character in all his movies, which is fine at first but its a short lived stint.
