Fun action, but not much else - Doom
This is the kind of film that to really enjoy, one has to pretty much turn one's brain off. The medieval action scenes are well choreographed and gruesome, and the performances from a cast of british character actors ... and Paul Giamatti, are good (Purefoy, Cox) to laughably over-the-top (Giamatti).
But if you look closer, you'll surely notice the gaping plot holes and entire lack of historical accuracy. But hey, if you want to see people with swords hit people with swords, you could do worse.Good movie - mrc-

A very loud, definate heavy metal movie. The sound was great but the movie left something to want. Wasnt quite sure what to make of the movie. Acting was pretty good, story okay, overall not bad. Not a movie I would run out to get, possibly if there was nothing else to actually rent.
