Blitz
Cop-Killer Versus Killer-Cop
Tough, uncompromising and totally un-PC cop Brant (Jason Statham) joins forces with Officer DC Porter Nash (Paddy Considine) to hunt down a serial killer (Aidan Gillen) who has been targeting police officers. This fast-paced action-thriller is a raw, gritty tale of moral ambiguity, outsiders and the sacrifices the police make to keep crime off the streets.

It delivers the gratuitous violence for those looking to vicariously enjoy, and that really is one of the purposes of this type of movie. Additionally, however, Blitz introduces characters that the viewer can appreciate for an enjoyable, well acted story. Some dark humour, some sadness, I`ve already mentioned the gratuitous violence, some more gratuitous violence...
This is not of the same calibre as the great movies in its genre, but it is a fun movie and worth the spin in your DVD player.great cine/dialogue but ultimately disappointing - metabolics
This wasn't a terrible film but it could have been so much more. Being a huge fan of Ken Bruen's original series of books, I know you can't translate from the page to screen verbatim, but this felt like a let down. They seemed to just try and cram so much into such a short period of time and it deserved so much more. Was this the studio? Who knows. Jason Statham is ok, but not given the chance to bring Insp. Brant to life like he is in the books. This Brant just ends up being a hollow shell. Ditto for Paddy Considine, not enough time to bring the character to life. However the locations and sets they chose were excellent! It seemed like mostly non-typical London locations.Action filled - bigdozer
This is not one of Jas Statons type of movie he is used to do like the transporter series but there is a lot of action non stop to keep you on edge for a lot of killing and his partener is not bad looking either so if there is a recommendation to give I would say two thumbs up for a change of pace in comparision to his other movies
