Friends with Benefits
Dylan (Justin Timberlake) is done with relationships. Jamie (Mila Kunis) decides to stop buying into the Hollywood cliches of true love. When the two become friends they decide to try something new and take advantage of their mutual attraction - but without any emotional attachment. Physical pleasure without the entanglements. Sounds easy enough for two logical adults, right? Not so much. They soon realize romantic comedy stereotypes might exist for a reason.

This romantic comedy offers some funny moments and will tug at your heartstrings; however, I never felt that Dylan and Jamie (played by Timberlake & Kunis) connected. The character development left me sensing these friends never invested much in each other past their flirting and casual sex. Despite the lack of evidence, the film carried on under false pretenses that they were soul mates. They even seemed to be stealing scenes from When Harry Met Sally… For these reasons, I much preferred Kuchter and Portman’s similar No Strings Attached (which, ironically, was the name of an ‘N Sync disc). It is always good seeing the under-utilized Elfman and the over-utilized Jenkins in supporting roles. I got some huge laughs from the fake movie-within-a-movie starring I Love You, Man co-stars Segel and Jones.Nice movie !!! One time watch - moviemonger
Life's simple formula for Dylan ( Justin Timberlake) and Jamie ( Mila Kunis) is all about friends helping each other in times of need. Even if that means getting naughty when you're in the mood and there's no one around. Of course, no strings attached. Easy? Not really, for complication's the name of the game. But getting physical has never been that easy, has it? Not at least for Hollywood romcoms. Remember Ashton Kutcher's No Strings Attached? So what's different with this one? Not the funny anecdotes, courtesy Jamie's mother (Patricia) who just can't remember which country Jamie's dad (now her ex) belongs to -- sometimes Russia, sometimes Asia. It's the chemistry between Timberlake and Kunis which is smooth, perfect, crackling. You actually end up giving them the benefit of doubt... despite the romcom's cliches!Good show - Sprock
Friends with Benefits is a good comedy that makes you laugh. Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake work wonderfully with each other. A good story with only a few problems, like JT having a speech impediment and being bad at math. Nice Cameo role by Woody. Fun light movie to watch.
