Midnight in Paris
This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It's about a young man's great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different from theirs would be much better. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, and Carla Bruni among others.

How could such a great cast make such a poor movie? There was nothing terrible about the movie, but nothing great either. I did not think I could get tired of Owen Wilson, but he was in every scene! The premise for the story was fun and it should have been much better than it was. Do not waste a rental on this.Pleasant - rnhaas
This is certainly a pleasant experience, even if you have never been to Paris. If you are interested at all in the period, it is at least vaguely interesting, and Allen's dialogue, though very identifiable as such, is still thought provoking even at this age (though Wilson is playing Allen, which is occasionally annoying). But I can't jump on the bandwagon and say this is anything more than what it is: a slight, intellectual nostalgia trip against nostalgia. It's fine, but it's hardly a great movie.not my style - littlemonkeys
I thought this movie was an interesting concept, I liked the views into Paris in the 1920's and wanted to visit there myself. Loved the glimpses of the many artists of that time, but REALLY did not like the two main characters in the film. Owen Wilson does not work for me at all in this, and his character ruined watching the film for me.
