The Best Of The Best - Old_Video_Man

The best episode of Moonlighting is (drum roll): Atomic Shakespeare, on Disc 2 of the 3rd season. It is the funniest satire of any Shakespeare you'll ever see. Other reviewers have called Maddie "that bitchy" woman, and here she shines as the Shrew, waiting, but not ready to be tamed. The gags are great; the music is fantastic; the costumes really work; and the cast is outstanding. This one episode is worth renting again and again.

Still Very Good - Canuck21

Season three of Moonlighting is still very good. The first half of the season continues with the same tone of season one and two, but the latter half is a little more soap opera-ish concentrating on the relationship between the two main characters, Maddie Hayes and David Addison. Being a huge fan of David and Maddie as I am, I enjoyed the soap opera-ish episodes as much as the case-oriented episodes. Well worth a watch.

Overhyped, and losing the magic of the first two seasons. - Radio_Jane

The shows are in themselves, not bad. Not the greatest show on earth, but enjoyable. Truth be told, the reason I keep watching them is so I can watch Bruce Willis drive that bitchy Shepherd woman insane. However, all the constant special features about how popular this show was and how people were always waiting with bated breath for a new episode to air started to really get on my nerves. They even have an episode, a clip show no less, with commentary by fans!!! come on!! Now I know I was in diapers when this show aired, but I really cannot believe it created the mass histeria they say it did. Strictly speaking, this season is enjoyable for about the first two discs, then it starts getting really soap operaish and loses alot of the humor that makes it so good. And dear lord skip the commentary, unless you were one of those who fell to the ground in worship of this sometimes painfully average show.
