Season 5 of Married with Children offers many, many more hilarious moments. I found myself laughing out loud all through the episodes.

We also get the arrival of a new character in Jefferson, Marcy's ney boyfriend/husband.

The only thing I didn't like much was that pointless spin-off episode. It was nice to see the first appearance on a young Matt Leblanc, but not enough to justify a whole episode on that character and it's father.

Once again.. a new season.... and they just keep getting better and better.. rather then sucking. I just find that every episode I'm cracking up even more then I did the last episode that I just watched. Its nice to see these classic shows on DVD... The only complaint I do have of all these Married with Children DVDs.. and I'm not sure if I'm the only one that noticed this.. is that they omitted the actual love and mariage song from the open credits and put a lame midi type version of it.. just doesn't make it all that enjoyable as I remember from the original TV show openings.

Even more classic Bundy episodes, featuring Marcys new boytoy conman of a husband, Jefferson (who made his first appearance last season in the Christmas special)
This season features another Bundy Labour Day classic, Al cancels his insurance and the kids get into an accident, Pegs affair with a gay man and Al's affair with his husband, Aliens visit Al to steal his socks, Al hunts a wabbit, the infamous wedding episode, Al becomes sexy, Al tries to get Peggy pregnant, Kelly has an affair with a 40 year old married man, Peggy changes Al's washroom, Al becomes a high school security guard and relives his highschool football days, the classic supermarket competition episodes, Kelly gets a job as Miss Weenie Tot, the Bundy's mine gold in Lucifer New Mexico, and the horrible spin off episode for Charly and Vinny
