I am not sold on this series as yet. It seems like Voyager. Far from home and able to contact home but no way tio get there. I also think there are way to many main characters to keep track of. On the good side it seems some love triangle drama may be brewing. ...

SG1 started as one of the most interesting SF franchises after Star Trek. It broke records in number of viewers and satisfied multiple fan generations. Atlantis took the story to Pegasus, and brought new bad guys on the stage; losing the momentum, got cancelled.
