How does Bobby Bowfinger (Steve Martin), Hollywood's least successful director, get Kit Ramsey (Eddie Murphy), Hollywood's biggest star, in his ultra low-budget film? Any way he can. If you are looking for a light and fluffy comedy that is going to make you howl, this is the one for you. I've watched this movie two times and both times I was crying, I was laughing so hard. Eddie Murphy is at his best playing twin brothers and the hijinks that ensue are hilarious. The supporting cast are marvelous and they are an endearing group of actors desperately trying to get a movie made in very unconventional ways. I would watch this movie again and it is a rare movie that I would watch more than once.

This is a good movie. Eddie Murphy is hilarious! Two big time hollywood comedians here who really work within their roles to pull this off. The plot is novel and not overthetop ridiculous. Enjoyable supporting cast of characters too. These two have played some real in-your-face roles in the past that I have found more annoying than funny but this movie makes up for them. Check it out!

Steve Martin strikes all the right notes as a down on his luck wanna-be filmaker who aspires to make something great - with no money and no stars! Impossible right... aww, those are just details. In an oh-not-so-subtle jab at the way Hollywood works, Martin, Eddie Murphy and crew lap up every laugh at their own expense. It's a great chuckle throughout. Enjoy.
