Jailbreak. . . At 38,000 feet! U.S. Marshal Pete Nessip's prisoner parachutes out of a 747 and floats safely into the night with his daring, deadly cohorts. Nessip does his best to stop the bold escape. What does he get in return? Suspended. But being off the force doesn't mean Nessip is out of the action. When it comes to stopping killer, he's taking the plunge.

I had forgotten what fun that movie was! The jailbreak really is spectacular, but the investigation that follows is equally interesting as we see both sides of the game with the bad and the good guys. The final hold-up is quite daring, too, which is very good :)

All in all, it's very good entertainment! It is not really violent or graphic despite its rating.

An adenaline packed, entertaining action movie in the Florida Keys - Porkchop

Drop Zone (1994) makes the grade.

Consultants were hired, clearly, in verifying the script considering
the manner in which a wide spectrum of spots were filmed, such as
the amusement park (with attractions in defying gravity), the
skydiving school on Sugarloaf Key (not far from Key West, Miami),
the penitentiary (where a code breaker makes a run for it), the US
Marshals, parole officers, discussion of the altitude limitations of
chute jumps (20,000 ft), military jargon (SOP, C3), guessing how a
DNA analysis and forensics is done on a crime scene, laying out how
a plane is commandeered, the result of loss of cabin air pressure on
a 727, narcotics runs from Bermuda or Bahamas on small single-engine
planes, tear gas canisters, UZI's, jumping a thumbprint scanner,
rappelling in an elevator shaft, remote control of a full gamut of
building mechanisms from a central computer, etc.

The special effects are notable.

Indeed, special mention should be made for the number and quality of
stunts, which cannot be overestimated.

The film connects with all audiences.

On the improvement side, one concern might touch upon the number of
stabbings, slashings, point blank shootings over the story.

Secondly, a tighter editing could have the case.

Next, the fact that Snipes is a one-man team, takes away or is
distraction.

In sum, one would be hard pressed to find a more adrenaline packed
picture than this one.

The centre piece of this classic action film is the parachute jumping adventure, they were used several occations like abducting prisoners from the airplane similar to jail breaking stunts but this is above the sky, highrise buildings stealing or looting operations, then breaking into government office buildings to get secret documents, then gangs infights during the tournaments above the sky with each others. I was really amused with this 1994 flick for this extra curricular activity oriented action film. Wesley Snipes did a fine job of doing a role where his co-law officer and his brother died in the airplane hijacking accident. Beautifully filmed thriller.
