The roaring twenties are in full swing when three brutally naive lads from Liverpool find themselves part of the mob scene that is Chicago, 1927.



Barely off the boat, Jimmy - a talented street fighter - and his friends meet Georgio - a gangster, who lures them to the Windy City with a promise to make Jimmy a prize-fighter.



Once in Chicago, however, the three friends' involvement in the mob moves from beyond the boxing ring - to the center of Al Capone's crime ring - when gangster women and gangster money entangle them in a kidnapping that brings Capone to his knees.
