One evening, Fanette, meets Bernard, a man she used to know when they were students. He was in love with her, but she loved someone else... In order to complete the book she is writing about an artist, she must travel to New York to photograph two paintings. One morning, a mysterious letter arrives inviting her to a romantic rendezvous on the top of the Empire State Building. Could he be the love of her life? Has she dreamt it? She begins acting like a young woman in love and rushes off to the USA. When she arrives in New York, she finds that seductive American Matt has replaced her usual photographer.
