The Ugly Dachshund

Danke is an award-winning dachshund show dog who's about to have puppies, much to the delight of her owner, Fran (Suzanne Pleshette). As Fran daydreams of a slew of new show-dogs-in-training, her husband, Jim (Dean Jones), is convinced by the vet that it would be a good idea for Danke to nurse an abandoned Great Dane puppy. As the orphaned puppy acclimates to its new home, it's no surprise that it starts to think it's a dachshund too!
