Relative Evil (Ball in the House)

When 17-year old JJ White comes home from six months of court-ordered rehab, he is not sure what to expect. Newly sober, struggling to keep an even keel in the emotionally turbulent world of real feelings, he is brought home to his working class family. Trapped in the house by ongoing late snowstorms, JJ must stay sober amid his troubled and dysfunctional family, unsure in his semi-delusional state if the pressure he feels from so many directions is psychosomatic, or whether someone really is out to get him. Relative Evilis a tragedy masquerading as a black comedy, a cautionary tale about American youth and the All-American pastimes of baseball, alcohol, rehabilitation, and tough love.
