His first solo album, Talk is Cheap, was a much greater success than Mick Jagger's solo effort, and the tour supporting his album release offered further proof that Keith Richards was rightly hailed as a true rock innovator. With his band the X-Pensive Winos - composed of Waddy Watchel, Sarah Dash, Steve Jordan, and Ivan Neville - Richards rocked the Palladium on December 15, 1988.
