A beautiful woman must choose between the two men in her life.

In this classic Yash Chopra film, Rohit (Rishi Kapoor) and Chandni (Sridevi) meet at a wedding and it’s love at first sight. Soon after, Rohit meets with an accident and becomes partially paralysed. He decides that he cannot be a burden to Chandni and breaks off their engagement. Years later, he is cured and returns to find Chandni and rekindle their romance. Rohit becomes shocked to find Chandni engaged to another man, Lalit (Vinod Khanna), and Chandni must choose between the two men in her life.
