1979: Qangattarsa - Top Secret Miliary Base. Rudy Spruance (Jason Biggs) is dropped off in the middle of nowhere in the frozen wastes of the Arctic. As he comes around in an army hospital that doesn't officially exist, Rudy understands what it is to be on the sharp end of a "small clerical error." But the Army doesn't make mistakes. Rudy is determined to get off the base until he meets Sargeant Irene Teale (Natasha McElone) - beautiful, intelligent, and most importantly, sane.
