With big city dreams, Frank and his best friend Eddie need one big break so they can escape and find fortune in Las Vegas. Spider, the local bad guy, gives Frank a one-time opportunity to run stolen cigarettes into Mexico. On their way to the job, the truck unexpectedly explodes making the two friends responsible for $250,000 in merchandise. While hiding out from Spider, they come across a newspaper headline of the recently deceased heiress, Crystal Harkness. Frank and Eddie devise a plan to dig up the deceased heiress, rob her of her jewelry, and pay back Spider. But when they dig up Crystal they discover that she was buried without her precious stones! In a hilarious twist of events, the two failed criminals fall deep into a web of scams and shady gangsters, leaving them way over their heads and dead out of luck.
