How far will you go to keep a secret?

When investigative reporter Rowena Price (Halle Berry) learns that her friend's murder might be connected to powerful ad executive Harrison Hill (Bruce Willis), she goes undercover with the help of her associate, Miles Hailey (Giovanni Ribisi). Posing as Katherine, a temp at Hill's agency, and Veronica, a girl Hill flirts with online, Rowena surrounds her prey from all sides, only to discover that she isn’t the only one changing identities. The closer Rowena gets to finding the truth, the more we see how far people will go to protect it.

Pleasant but not Memorable - DWM54

Billed by the producers as a psychological thriller, this movie certainly explores personal motivation, but falls short in thrilling its audience. The big reveal at the end elicits a "huh" rather than a "wow". Bruce Willis and Giovani Ribisi bring layered, subtle performances, but Halle Berry is less convincing. It seems strangely dated for a 2007 release.

I Enjoyed It... - Jeefster

Unlike the others writing in, I thought the movie was quite well done. Good acting, good twisted plotline, good suspense. Overall just a good bit of entertainment that I'd recommend to others.
For some reason I expected this to be a total dud as every review I've read so far has been fairly negative, but was pleasantly surprised after watching to see that it really wasn't that bad after all.
I like Halle,(who doesn't with a body like that?), and I found she showed good acting skills in the emotions she portrays. Bruce always plays kind of a cheesy character but this time he had a little background as a bad boy thrown in there and he's quite credible in this role. Giovanni I don't really like as an actor, he doesn't seem to be able to express any true range of emotion and seems to be pigeonholed into always playing the same sort of character, but his part in the film was well done and believable so I guess I can't go too hard on him for this movie.
Really loved the final few seconds, was good for a twisted laugh, and really helped to finish the story off in a continuing unfinished vein.
All in all this was a decent rental and I'm sure if you pick this you'll agree it was worth watching. Disregard above critics and just do it!

NOT BAD! - Len11670

I have read the reviews for this movie and at first I thought about not watching it, but the plot seemed interesting and I decided to give it a shot. It may not be Hitchcock nor Agatha Christie but it is a pretty good movie to watch. It's got suspense, it's kinky and it has Halle Berry in it. Maybe the public and the critics expected too much from the cast but overall it is a film worth watching.
