Blood Creek (a.k.a. Town Creek)
In the early '40s, Adolf Hitler believed the occult held the secret to immortality. Almost a century later, the nightmare has awakened...
In 1936, the Wollners, a German family living in Town Creek, West Virginia, are contacted by the Third Reich to host a visiting scholar. In need of money, they accept Professor Ricard Wirth into their home, unaware of the Third Reich's practices in the occult or Wirth's real mission, which will keep the family bound for decades to come. Now, in 2007, after mysteriously disappearing two years ago near Town Creek, Evan Marshall's older brother Victor suddenly returns, very much alive and having escaped his captors. Evan asks no questions; at his brother's request, he loads their rifles, packs their boat and follows Victor back to Town Creek on a mission of revenge that will test them in every possible way.

Not bad, not great, but not great. - JayA
I enjoyed watching this movie, though at no point did I think it was wonderful. The imagery and the cinematography and acting were all quite good, but I found the pacing and the story a bit uneven. I seemed really slow at parts and almost too fast at parts. I kind of think there was a much better movie to be made here, though it would require some significant rewrites. I really wish there was a two and a half stars rating, since there were parts I quite liked, and parts I really didn't like, and overall it sat right in the middle. If it seems interesting to you, then it's likely you'll enjoy it, though with several reservations. Not bad though, especially for something that received virtually no attention. I'd watch the sequel though if it ever happens.Surprisingly good - lambert41
I'm never too optomistic about Lionsgate straight to DVD. But I continue to list them. This one was very good. I don't know why it didn't find an audience. To think horror films like House of Wax and The Hills Have Eyes 2 get released in the theatres and this did not is crazy. Very good potential for a sequel that will never be made. Great actors and good story.OVERALL, NOT BAD AT ALL - moviecritic007
For those of you who desire a decent horror and/or Nazi fokelore movie, then this is it. This movie also delves into the ominous side of Norse mythlogoy, and, moreover, this movie leaves you wanting more. Joel Schumacher does a great job with the storyline. If you haven't seen it, zip it.
