Though best known as an actor, Frank Whaley (Swimming With Sharks, Pulp Fiction) now emerges as one of independent cinema's most provocative talents with his third film as writer/director. Owen (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) is an aspiring filmmaker with a dead-end job and a beautiful fiancee. Roy (Chris Klein) is a failing musician with charm to spare and going nowhere fast. But can these life-long best friends and diehard New Yorkers stumble their way into adult responsibility without totally wreaking each other's lives? Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos) and Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride) co-star in this acclaimed comedy/drama about love, death, screwing up and moving forward in the city with a rhythm all its own.
