This was another great Harry Potter film. I found Prof. Umbridge to be so annoying, she was painful to watch. I did like how Harry started his own defense against the dark arts class/club to teach the students how to defend themselves especially with things about to get so dark in the wizarding world.Good but confusing - miskiw
First the good: This movie had great special effects, especially the fight scene at the end with Dumbledoor and Voldemort. I also liked most of the performances, especially some of the newer characters (Delores and Luna).
Overall, however, the story was hard to follow. Very choppy.
Sirius Black's death was done so poorly it was practically anti-climactic. Without reading the book, you would have had a hard time telling what was really happening.
This movie kind of felt like it was just a transition - just filling some space between 4 and 6. Not on par with the other HP films.Excellent - Karl
As someone who hasn't read the books, but only seen the movies to date, I must say I'm really enjoying this series. Each movie gets progressively better to the point I can hardly wait for the next installment. It's been a blast watching all the Hogwarts kids age in real time; this will be something that will never be duplicated; at least not for a long long time. Very enjoyable film and series....if you havn't yet, see them all! 4 out 5 stars.
