The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day
From Troy Duffy, writer and director of The Boondock Saints, comes the much anticipated sequel to the tough, stylized cutting edge saga of the MacManus brothers (Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery). The two have been in deep hiding with their father, Il Duce (Billy Connolly), in the quiet valleys of Ireland, far removed from their former vigilante lives. When word comes that a beloved priest has been killed by sinister forces from deep within the mob, the brothers return to Boston to mount a violent and bloody crusade to bring justice to those responsible. With a new partner in crime (Clifton Collins Jr., Star Trek) and a sexy FBI operative (Julie Benz, TV's Dexter) hot on their trail... The Saints are back!

Cult classic part 2 - noamatancha
I knew nothing about this film before a friend convinced me that it was worth watching. I took a chance and I was not disappointed at all. Very good movie with a religious twist on it. Having those two brothers killing bad guys with religious convictions is great. You will pray to be shot - urlanguageisoffensiv
If you are a true fan of the original than please stay away from this one. The original was unique, fresh and witty which made it a cult favourite and then a mainstream must have. The sequel does nothing but tarnish that great original. The script was predictable, the repartee was forced and unimaginative. The acting was downright torturous. The one thing that this film has is that it reinforces the theme of sequels always being worse than the original. What a sequel should be - tinmar
Too many times when producers make another film in a franchise it is just to keep the money flowing and not really about making a good story. This movie is, however, a true sequel to a great film. It picks up where the last one left off and brings back old characters and introduces new ones. It remains faithful to what made the original film great but is still new. If you enjoyed the first one then you will love this one and it makes way for another chapter as well. Hopefully we will not need to wait so long for the next one.
