X-Men: First Class is a great prequel to the X-Men series of movies. It nicely shows the beginnings of the x-men and the brotherhood. It was great to see Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. Beasts transformation was good but his immediate attitude change was harder to accept.Brilliant! - evester85
60s Bond movie meets super powers.
Great acting (McAvoy and Fassbender are amazing). Excellent plot. Terrific amalgamation of real world events and X-men storyline. Wonderful costuming and special effects. Truly a fantastic movie.
Plus, comic book fans (like me) will love all the self-referential moments.Fassbender, McAvoy are golden - eli_quincy
X-Men First Class is certainly an enjoyable excursion for comic-book fans, though it all feels a bit forgettable and insubstantial. The highlight, however, is the interplay between Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, both of whom put in magnetic, compelling performances that rise far above the typical comic-book fare. If only the rest of the characters were as interesting.
