Effective immediately, Zip.ca members are entitled to have four DVDs out at a time (up from the previous three). The monthly membership fee remains unchanged at $24.95 - the lowest such price in Canada. As before, members may rent unlimited DVDs for one monthly fee and keep individual titles for an unlimited time - with no late fees.

In addition to Zip.ca's standard four-DVD-at-a-time membership, Zip.ca is also introducing two new membership plans. The first will appeal to movie lovers who want to keep an even larger selection of DVDs on hand at any one time. For $34.95 per month members may have up to six DVDs out at any time, still with unlimited rentals, no deadlines, no late fees and no shipping charges.
The second new plan will appeal to people who watch fewer DVDs, but still wish to take advantage of Zip.ca's selection of over 15,000 titles - the largest in Canada. These people will be able to enjoy a limited membership for $18.95 monthly, allowing up to two DVDs at a time with a limit of four titles per month, still with no deadlines, late fees or shipping charges.
